The New York Mets have activated Juan Lagares from the DL. Seth Lugo has been optioned to the Las Vegas 51's in order to make a roster spot for Lagares.
Lagares was placed on the disabled list 2 weeks ago with a sprained left thumb. He was hitting .289 with 5 doubles, 2 homers, and 6 RBI's before his injury.
Since Lagares was activated before Saturday's game he should be available off the bench.
